Here Comes the Sun
George Harrison & The Beatles

Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
and I say it's all right

Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun and I say it's all right

Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...

Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
and I say it's all right
It's all right

George Harrison
(25 Feb 1943 29 Nov 2001)

"Everything else can wait, but the search for God cannot wait; and love one another." Ideals George lived by, ideals he shared so beautifully in song.

George Harrison "was an influential English rock guitarist, singer, songwriter, author and sitarist best known as the lead guitarist of The Beatles."

"Following the band's demise, Harrison had a successful career as a solo artist and later as part of the Traveling Wilburys super group where he was known as both Nelson Wilbury and Spike Wilbury."

"He was also a film producer, with his production company Handmade Films, involving people as diverse as Madonna and the members of Monty Python. From an initial exposure whilst a member of the Beatles, he maintained a high public profile regarding his religious and spiritual life."

In 1965, George Harrison was "appointed [Member] of the Order of the British Empire (MBE), and received [an] insignia from the Queen." He shared an Academy Award for the song "Let It Be" in 1970;  was ranked #21 in Rolling Stone's list of The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time;  was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Madison Square Walk of Fame in 2006; and is expected to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2008.

The Beatles    (band)

The Beatles!  They love us yeay yeay yeay!  And, we really do love 'em!  With a love like that we know we should be gla-a-a-a-d!

"The Beatles were an English rock group from Liverpool whose members were John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr."

"They are one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed bands in the history of popular music. "In the United Kingdom, The Beatles released more than 40 different singles, albums, and EPs that reached number one. This commercial success was repeated in many other countries: their record company, EMI, estimated that by 1985 they had sold over one billion discs and tapes worldwide."

The Beatles are the best-selling musical act of all time in the United States, according to the Recording Industry Association of America. In 2004, Rolling Stone magazine ranked The Beatles #1 on its list of 100 Greatest Artists of All Time."

"The Beatles led the mid-1960s musical "British Invasion" into the United States. Although their initial musical style was rooted in 1950s rock and roll and homegrown skiffle, the group explored genres ranging from Tin Pan Alley to psychedelic rock. Their clothes, styles, and statements made them trend-setters, while their growing social awareness saw their influence extend into the social and cultural revolutions of the 1960s."
