It is the fool whose own tomatoes are sold to him.

-- Akan proverb

Peoples of the third world and other lesser acknowledged communities* are great and creative producers.  Yet they are even more consistent consumers.  They have given so much to the world and for some strange reason, they keep buying it back.  They cannot complain about what they lose if they allow it to be taken.  They cannot complain about what others do to them if they are not doing it for themselves.  If as under-acknowledged communities, they are ever to stand, they must give credit to one another for the things that are created within their own communities.  They must take every necessary precaution to safeguard what is theirs.   Buy in their own communities first instead of importing from outside.  Educate their own children well in the ways of their world.  Protect the women and the elders at all costs.  Give to their own expecting nothing in return.  Above all, do not allow the love of money to supersede pride for their own people.*
