It
is often accepted in certain
cultures that - -
White
people like violins, while
people of colour like drums.
White
people play bridge, while
people of colour play black
jack.
White people eat caviar,
while people of colour lust
after pig's feet.
White
people play squash, and
people of colour excel at
basketball or football.
People
do not do what
they do because of the color
of their skin!
They
do what is familiar to them,
accessible to them and what
vibrates in their soul.
It's about ancestry.
It's about tradition! It's
about what feels good and
what doesn't. And it's
all okay.
Once
we begin to understand that
we are so much more than
color, we can begin to
accept our individual and
very unique differences.
We
can eat what we want, play
what we want, go where we
want, do what we want --
because we choose to.
No
one thing is better than the
other because of who does
it.
What
makes an activity attractive
and available is how it is
supported by the people who
do it, not because your
color keeps you from doing
something else.
