Us human beings
are extremely diverse, sometimes
wonderfully creative and at other times
desperately depressed. For some
reason, there are so many times when all
we know, are capable of doing and desire
to accomplish never seems to get done.
We seem to be held down by our
frustrations, challenges and failures.
This in turn makes us so angry we could
scream. What we fail to realize is
that anger is what stops us in the first
place. It's not the other way
around. Angry people are stagnant.
Angry people are frustrated. Angry
people see challenges as obstacles.
Angry people fail before they start so
they usually never try. Angry
people tell themselves, "I'm not angry,
I'm just put down. I'm not angry,
I'm poor. I'm not angry, I'm just
tired." Yet buried beneath the
poverty and the fatigue is the black
hole of anger that must be healed.
Anger, not depression. Anger, not
alcoholism. Anger, not
hypertension. Anger, not
cancer. Anger, not strokes is what
holds us back, so we might as well
scream and let a little of the anger
out.
