George Bernard Shaw  was dining in a London restaurant when an orchestra began to play loudly.  The music went on fro some time until Shaw beckoned the head waiter and asked, "Does the orchestra play requests?"

The head waiter exclaimed with delight that they did and asked what Shaw would like them to play.

"Ask them to play dominoes until I have finished eating, " replied Shaw.


Gutenberg made everybody a reader.  The new copying machine made everybody a publisher.
